Stretching is said to be the set of body movements which allows the body muscles to stretch. Usually, human beings stretch their bodies whenever they are tired or feel stuck. Although if these stretching exercises are performed daily in a coordinated and well-balanced manner. They can turn out to be really really effective and useful for the person.

Stretching is very important for flexibility, the range of motion and injury prevention. Incorporating stretching into your daily workouts is a given but including it in your day routine is just as important to health and body functioning as regular exercise. It relaxes your muscles and increases blood flow and nutrients to your cartilage and muscles.
Improve body posture
The most important thing about the human body is body posture. Scientific studies have proven that stretching can improve the human body posture to a great extent. The simple reason being that the length of the tight body muscles increases making it a little looser. This allows the human being to take the desired posture due to reduced stiffness.

I am sure you all must have seen gymnasts performing various tricks. Even in the circus, we see people touching their heads with their toes. So how do they do it? I mean I can’t do that. So what is the secret behind it? Frankly speaking its all a result of stretching. These are the people who have been stretching their muscles and joints from a very young age on a daily basis.

Personally speaking, stamina plays a very important role in the human life ( especially in the middle age). Stretching improves the human stamina is scientific fact. The reason is that the huge amount of tension and fatigue is released along with loosed body tendons and muscles. As a result, the flow of human blood is also increased. The increase blood flow allows more oxygen to flow throughout the body and I am sure you know the rest of it.
